Bojana Pantovic began to devote herself to the violin studies in the Primary Music School of Uzice, her hometown in western Serbia. At ten, she entered School for Musical Talent in Cuprija, where she studied for seven years and later taught Violin and Chamber Music. She graduated in 2001 from University of Arts in Belgrade, in the class of Professor Aleksandar Pavlovic, with whom she also obtained a Master’s degree in 2004.
Throughout her formative years, Bojana won several awards such as the first places in Serbia State in the 1994 and 1996 editions, Petar Konjovic International Award in 1995 and 1997 and Yugoslav National Award in 1996. She was also third place in Streza International Award in Italy, 1995.
From 1996 to 2002, Bojana was a soloist for the Belgrade Chamber Orchestra Dusan Skovran (Belgrade Strings), with which she has held concerts in Serbia and in countries such as England, Greece and China. She has also been a member of Youth Symphony Orchestra of Southeast Europe, having appeared several times in her country and in France. In 2003 and 2004 she worked as a freelance musician and in 2005, joined Camerata Serbica Orchestra and the chamber ensemble Orchestra St. George Strings.
