Daniel was born in Rio de Janeiro, where he began his studies at Escola de Música Villa-Lobos. He received his Bachelor’s in Trumpet Performance from Minas Gerais State University (UEMG).
Between 2006 and 2008, Daniel was a member of Youth Brazilian Symphony Orchestra as Principal Trumpet, the same position he held in Heliópolis Symphony from 2008 to 2009. He served as guest musician with the symphony orchestra of the Municipal Theatre of Rio de Janeiro, where he also integrated the Brass Ensemble from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, he was approved as a member of the Orquestra Experimental de Repertório in São Paulo.
After four years integrating the Trumpets section of Minas Gerais Gerais Philharmonic, Daniel was promoted to the Principal Assistant position. In 2012, he was a soloist with the Philharmonic performing Arutunian’s Concerto.
Daniel participated in the Campos do Jordão International Festival in 2006, where he studied with Professor Uwe Koller, from German Brass. In 2009, he joined the Collegium Musicum Schloss Pommersfelden Festival in the Internationale Sommer-Akademie in Germany, and was invited to return as a soloist in 2011. In 2015, he participated in the Santa Catarina International Music Festival, where he studied with Fernando Dissenha and Martin Angerer. He has also taken part in masterclasses with Yigal Meltzer and with Sergei Nakariakov.
